Welcome

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California (PSY 32336) and currently offer Individual Psychotherapy in my Private Practice, Leadership/Executive Coaching, and Organizational Workshops. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford-Psy.D. Consortium and completed by APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the University of Southern California. Before earning my doctorate, I received my bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Vanderbilt University and was a Teach For America Corps Member in Miami-Dade, FL.

Therapy

I’ve practiced therapy at the University of Southern California’s (USC) Counseling Center, the Palo Alto VA, and Stanford’s Addiction Medicine and Dual-Diagnosis Clinic, and have training and experience providing evidence-based treatments for anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, and addiction.

I work from a multicultural lens, and integrate mindfulness and relational therapy into my emotion-focused approach. The biggest predictor of therapy success is the quality of the client/therapist relationship, also known as the “therapeutic alliance”. As a result, I strive to develop strong relationships with my clients and foster an environment that promotes curiosity, openness, and humor. In this safe space, my therapy focuses on exploring a client’s past and present to develop a greater understanding of their current distress. On a more personal note, I absolutely love practicing therapy and feel so honored to be let in to the most vulnerable and personal parts of my clients’ lives.

Consulting

My graduate and post-doctoral research has concentrated on the impact of psychosocial work factors on burnout, productivity, and creativity and my doctoral dissertation focused on work-related stress and the efficacy of stress-management interventions in the workplace. I have experience leading workshops in leadership development, assertive communication, and stress management at Stanford University, Teach For America, USC, and at tech start-ups in Silicon Valley and NYC.

I am currently working as a psychodynamic management consultant for business leaders to help them feel less alone and have more support in their leadership effectiveness and personal development. I’ve also been consulting for organizations and start-ups to help them adapt to the mental health challenges of COVID-19 and developing scalable stress-management curriculums to help decrease the barrier to entry for mental health.
